Original U.S. WWII M1942 16" Garand Rifle Bayonet by Utica Cutlery with M3 Scabbard dated 1942 Garand & U.S. Rifles Shacklett was with the 502nd Shacklett was with the 502nd jumping into France 6 hours prior to the D Day invasion and was Wounded in Action (broken femur) in Belgium receiving the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star which is only faintly visible
